Road FuelMost vehicle fleet operators will be familiar with the advantages of fuel cards or fuel bunkering. However, to ensure our customers receive the full price advantage of either method we also apply the principals of our oil purchasing system to road fuel: unleaded, DERV and LPG. No change – except in the priceTypical savings implemented by eum for fleet customers are of the order 1-2 p/litre. For a company operating say 30 vehicles this equates to an average saving of approximately £2,000 pa without any changes to the firm’s operation or drivers’ behaviour. The only difference seen is in the price. Invoice checkingAgain, once the reduced rate is implemented with the supplier, eum will continuously monitor all invoices and fuel card statements to ensure the correct prices are paid.
